Were you one of our VW campers this year?
We've seen a lot more VW campervan guests this summer and we always try and make time to speak to them about the great charity event which is 'Run the Ring'.
Taking place this year on Sunday September 26th 2021.
Run the Ring is a gathering of VW's doing a lap of the M25 in a 50mph convoy leaving from 4 points, South Mimms, Thurrock, Clackets & Cobham Services which has been held since 2016 with the exception of 2019, making lots of money for worthy causes.

Last year £51,000 was raised for PAPYRUS, the UK charity for the prevention of suicide in young people.
Just under 1000 vehicles took part!

With over 11,000 members just on Facebook, VW Run the Ring get together for this year's event on the weekend of 25th Sept and is supporting
who help young people stand the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer.
Registration this year was £25 for each VW vehicle, (cars, campervans, or anything with a VW badge) but is now closed for 2021.
We have always welcomed (since 2016) a number of Ringers from all over the UK who camp with us before (and sometimes after the event) and run out in convoy on Sunday morning to cruise down to South Mimms to meet up with other Ringers as they head to the M25.
It's great for them to get together in a safe, secure countryside environment, with clean, modern facilities (six family wet rooms on the Rally fields) before the event where they can meet up with like-minded people, show off their pride and joys and relax before the big day.
It's always a happy crowd and it's great to catch them on video as they leave the site on the Sunday morning run. Distance from South Mimms Starting point: 28 Miles Time to starting point: 35 Minutes.
It's too late to register this year for new runners, but be sure to join their Facebook page for information about next years run.
In the meantime, for the 2021 'Run the Ring 5' event we have released more pitches for anyone else who is looking for a park up the night before the run and we are making a donation to the cause as a thank you to all the dedicated Ringers who are taking part.
