Autumnal Reflection...

It's that time of of year..

We are approaching the beginning of the colder weather, & now that Halloween has passed, we feel it's time to share what a fabulous season we had this year!

Although we are open 365 days a year, the bank holidays, summer holidays and Halloween mark the height of our peak season and is when we run our FREE entertainment programme for families who are camping / glamping with us!

The site has become calmer now for our Autumn and Winter seasons, Guests and staff have alike have enjoyed the hustle and bustle of summer, spooky season and the laughter it all brings.

Can you spot yourself in any of the fabulous photographs we have from this season?

The Roundel again this year also hosted spectacular local artists Dave Cass, Acoustic Al, Something Else and The Peter Thompson Project playing their live music, along with Cash Bingo for this year's chosen charity Children With Cancer UK.

The public footpath surrounding the site has been home to the Henlow Bridge Lakes Park Run this year and has been particularly busy this summer! Visit to get involved this winter!

We were also joined by Becky & her team @ Teaching Talons Mobile Zoo midweek during the summer who were a huge hit, introducing all sorts of small mammals, invertebrates and reptiles to our camping guests!

Imajica Theatre were also a later addition to our summer entertainment programme. Our young guests were whirled into the creative world of pirates during their 'Raggle taggle' Pirate show and workshops!

There have been other exciting events this summer also, such as our annual Tribute Festival in early July, seeing fantastic Tribute acts of Whitney Houston, Queen, Madness and more!

We also welcomed back The Pantaloons theatre company for their whimsical adaptation of H. G Wells 'War Of The Worlds'.

& In other news, this season saw the opening of our new site entrance and brand new reception building!

In Fishing news, the lakes have been very busy this season with lots of delighted anglers especially a duo who caught 40 Carp in Jordans lake across 2 days! Lot's of younger anglers also tried their luck, and fishing for the first time too!

The swim platforms are much healthier this year due to our rule introduced in 2020 discontinuing the use of bank sticks, therefore our lakes will remain open throughout the winter season with opening hours of 08.00am until 16.30pm.
