Horror at Henlow Bridge Lakes

Halloween Weekend, October 26th to the 28th 2018

This is a fantastic weekend for all the family, the last big weekend of the year, with everything geared around the youngsters in our safe and secure, well staffed campsite.

Everyone is here for the same reason, so when the kids go trick or treating they won't find the caravans in darkness with the owners hiding behind their couches, but you may find other creatures hiding in their awnings and tents LOL.

The caravans, camper vans lodges, cabins and even the tents will be dressed for the occasion and the best decorated ones will win a prize.

Everybody, the guests and their kids... and the staff, will also be dressed for the day and night, and we will have scary goings on at the Roundel as the night draws in with the spooky duo 'Somethin' Else' entertaining us all around the big fire pit where we serve a free hot chocolate witches brew (with a kick for the adults). The best costume receives a prize.

At the start of the weekend we have hundreds of pumpkins for you and your kids to carve, and enter into our prize competition plus lots of other activities to keep the kids entertained.

Our famous kids disco always goes down a storm, with Alan Collins from Abacus Events, who keeps your mini (and maxi) monsters dancing, posing, screaming, singing, shouting and competing for prizes for a solid 2 hrs!

Last year was unbelievable.

The effort made by our happy families, with their astounding costumes and makeup, lights on poles everywhere, and scary... really scary, grottos and witches dens on their pitches, will take some beating, but we have every faith in our legion of undead guests who will go all out this year to surpass the last two Halloween weekends.

It will be hard to beat it this time around, but be sure to grab the last few spots as quick as you can to avoid disappointment, and get to work on your costumes.
