Fishing at the Lakes
We don't just have fair weather anglers here at Henlow, which means that we are open all year round come snow or shine (except Christmas Day, Boxing day, and New Years Day).
Our gates open at 8 am sharp, (don't come early and restrict access as you will be sent away) and we offer clean modern facilities at our secure, well-staffed venue, with coffee and snacks available at the shop which opens at 8.30 am.
Our big lakes need to be booked online for day or night fishing but our smaller lakes can be fished on a first come first served basis by purchasing a day ticket from the shop at the site entrance.
We welcome all ages and abilities to our fishing lakes and even offer lakeside cabins for that special short break which includes fishing.

Parkrun at the lakes
The Henlow Bridge Lakes ParkRun continues every Saturday morning right through the year depending on the weather.
What is Henlow Bridge Lakes parkrun?
It's not a competition, it's a nationwide, free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event which is open to all. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
Halloween at the Lakes
Halloween was a little quieter than our usual pre-Covid spectacle, but a good time was still had by all.
Comedy Special at the Lakes
Our recent comedy night was a great success and very cozy despite restrictions.
Manager John was on hand and took a few pictures of the new layout in the Roundel.
We are hoping to have many more comedy nights at the Lakes, building on our reputation after hosting so many stars here in the last few years.
