A great weekend was had by all this Bank Holiday and the girls in the office have been rushed off their feet since then with people booking up for next year, our visitors were even coming into reception to re-book after their first night with us!
Welcome to the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame
Because you’ve earned a Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five years, we’re pleased to announce that Henlow Bridge Lakes has qualified for the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.
The free BANGO tractor trailer rides and goat walking proved as popular as ever and we had lots more going on for the kids to keep the holiday as family friendly as possible including the famous Kids Disco at the Roundel with Alan and this weekends guest... Spiderman.
We were sent a few pictures in from visitors and anglers over the weekend and we managed to snap a few ourselves which we will include here, but, as always, feel free to use the message function on our Facebook page to send us your happy snaps anytime and we will try to post them up ASAP so you can show your friends. If you haven't yet 'liked' or followed our Facebook page you can find us here, click the like button and maybe you'll be the person who takes us over 5,000 likes.
It's the best way to keep up to date with forthcoming news about the campsite, fishing, special events or our fantastic tribute festival.
The Scavenger Hunt and Petanque winners are pictured below, winning a free camping weekend for two adults and up to four children. Well done to all who entered.
There was also a special little prize for Evlyn Robins aged 10, who did us a lovely drawing of the BANGO tractor trailer hauling a giant BANGO duck!.
As you know we always welcome well behaved dogs on our campsite, but they must be on leads or tethered at all times, but there are plenty of places off site where they can be let off to have a run.
Regulars, Matt and Jason were out enjoying the beautiful countryside and rivers around the campsite this weekend with their dogs, Harvey (brown) and Dexter and Matt sent us a few pictures.
We had Pizza on Friday and the burger bar serving breakfast and dinners over the weekend and they will be here every weekend now through summer, with Pizza on Friday nights 5 till 8 and the girls in the burger van serving breakfast Saturday and Sundays 8 till 10 and dinner on Saturday evenings, 5 till 8.

We also serve freshly baked bread, morning goods, pasties and sausage rolls at the shop near the entrance.
Our fishing lakes were as popular as ever with regular anglers and campers enjoying the nice weather.

Here are a bunch of pictures of Nathan and Alex Myers (and even dad John got a look in) who had a very fruitful time on our lakes catching Carp, Bream and Perch during their session this weekend.
Charlie and Sue Elliot were pictured by reception taking their pugs for some exercise, including Harry, who doesn't know he's disabled, but has his own set of wheels to give him an easier life.
Ben Palmer and his friend were also busy on the lakes this weekend and sent us a few pics of their catches.
Thanks to everyone who sent us their memories and we will see you all next time.
