Vincent's Lake

Vincent’s Lake covers 1.55 acres of water area and is triangular in shape with several interesting corners. Originally the lake was planned as a ‘nursery’ lake for the younger anglers, but it has proved even more popular with the older generation and is producing good catches. Surrounded by reed beds and trees, this interesting water provides float and pole anglers with the opportunity of catching rudd, roach, bream, gudgeon, crucian, common and mirror carp.

An ideal lake for match fishing

In 2003 when the lake was stocked, silver fish were introduced between l00mm and 250mm with carp to 31b. Within four months of the lake opening to anglers in 2005, several rudd, roach and bream have been taken in excess of 1.5 lb and common carp to 8.5 lb. The best catch to date produced 48 fish weighing in at 101 lb in a 4 hour session.
